Membership Coordinator Position

Job Title: Membership Coordinator

Reports to: Executive Director

Location: Fully remote (Canada)

We are looking for a Membership Coordinator who is detail-oriented with an exceptional customer service focus, discretion, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while working remotely is critical.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team. Working remotely, the candidate will support the administrative needs of the organization and be the principle point of contact for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer the membership process.
    1. Respond to and resolve routine membership-related inquiries.
    2. Administer the member onboarding process.
    3. Maintain membership records.
    4. Provide members with good customer service to ensure a positive membership experience.
  2. Assist with the planning and coordination of membership activities, networking events, and
    seminars.
  3. Serve as backup to the Office Manager for select administrative functions.
  4. Collaborate with other areas within the organization.

Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in administration, membership management or customer service,
    and/or a college certificate in business administration.
  2.  Above-average verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  3. Experience with membership or sales databases.
  4. Experience with event planning and coordination.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  6. Strong organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, contributing to a positive team environment.
    A police reference check will be required, and the ability to acquire and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance at the Secret level would be an asset.
