Job Title: Technical Analyst

Location: Fully remote (Canada)

Salary: $45,000–$70,000 + bonus eligibility | Full Time | Remote (Canada)

The Role

The Technical Analyst at CCTX is a position focused on supporting technical operations and enhancing cybersecurity resilience across Canada. This new role involves collaborating with the Technical Lead and Threat Analysts to troubleshoot issues, maintain dashboards, improve threat
intelligence feeds, and identify automation opportunities.

You Will

  • Collaborate with the Technical Lead to act as a technical resource for the team, helping explore better ways to solve problems, improve workflows, and support ongoing projects.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining dashboards (Power BI, etc.) that combine data from multiple sources and present it in a way that’s clear, meaningful, and easy to share across teams.
  • Work with the organization’s managed service provider (MSP) to troubleshoot general technical issues with devices and Microsoft 365. 
  • Work with Threat Analysts to maintain and improve the quality, reliability, and usefulness of threat intelligence feeds available to members.
  • Help patch and maintain server infrastructure, following proper change management and documentation procedures.
  • Work with the Technical Lead to identify opportunities for automation and build simple scripts
    or workflows that make the team’s work more efficient.
  • Assist in keeping technical documentation organized, current, and easy for others to
    understand.

You Bring

  • 1+ year of experience in a technical analyst or similar role.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean).
  • Comfortable working with Excel (advanced functions).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable internet and remote work setup.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Nice-to-Have: Comfortable working with Power BI, basic programming/scripting
    (Python/PowerShell), experience with ETL tools or APIs, interest in cybersecurity.

You must have the ability to acquire and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance at the Secret level. Also, a police reference check will be required.
