Ontario Cybersecurity Excellence Initiative

A major effort to drive Ontario’s competitiveness and cyber resilience

Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange (CCTX) and Toronto Metropolitan University’s Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst are proud to announce the Ontario Cybersecurity Excellence Initiative (OCEI) – a first-of-its-kind effort to drive Ontario’s competitiveness and cyber resilience in six key sectors: advanced manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, mining, law enforcement and smart infrastructure.

This groundbreaking new initiative is supported by C$5 million from the Government of Ontario, and $3.8 million from Rogers Communications through its support for Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst. Other in-kind contributions will bring the program total to $10 million over three years.
