The CCTX is pleased to announce that Kevin Goheen and Rick Ouellette have joined our team.

As Chief Operating Officer, Kevin will be responsible for the development and maturity of collaboration opportunities for member companies and defining and enhancing the value for members. 
 
Most recently, Kevin was the Executive Director of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, managing it through a period of renewal and growth. Kevin held senior academic and administrative positions at Carleton University and Ryerson University and went on to be responsible for corporate finance and analysis activities for two of Canada’s largest independent investment banks, focussing on the industrial technology, aerospace, and wireless communications sectors. He later managed a high-tech seed capital fund. 
 
Kevin has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of London, England, and has completed advanced courses in university administration and financial securities. 
 
He volunteers with the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the Ontario Curling Council.
 
 
 
 
 

As Cyber Program Manager. Rick supports CCTX members in collaborating to reduce their cyber risk and improve resilience and is responsible for the delivery of cyber security programs to CCTX members, including threat calls and technical webinars.

For over twenty years, Rick has held senior and leadership roles in the audit, IT, cybersecurity, and risk management industries. He has influenced, led, built, and managed programs with a particular focus on enhancing governance, risk, and compliance management. Prior to joining the CCTX, Rick worked in manufacturing, telecommunications, and government. 

Rick has deep knowledge of regulatory compliance and frameworks, including COSO’s Three Lines of Defence, COBIT, ISO 27001/27002, and the CIS Top 20, among others. He has a Bachelor of Data Analysis degree from the University of New Brunswick. Rick is a CGA, CGA and is also Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), a Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP); and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
